Guest guest
I've posted some pictures of the 2 Amma yantras I got recently, with different colored frames to show the effects of color. If you close your eyes a little and let your focus change (within or other), the brown frame seems to compete with the red of the yantra, the white is ok but a little glaring, and the black allows the colors to stand out the best. A yellow or natural wood frame would likely compete with the yellow in the yantra. The square frame I got from Bed Bath and Beyond for $10, which I later painted black. It takes either size yantra as seen in the pics. The ones I received were a little lighter in color than pictured on the amma shop page here: http://www.theammashop.org/mayantra.html My Flickr page with the Amma yantra: http://www.flickr.com/photos/ammasgull/sets/72157604644138797/ Here's a neat 3D viewer for pics on the web called PicLens. It shows the pics on a Virtual wall, similar to ITunes' album view but better because of the full view. Youtube demo of PicLens: Download page (add-on for Firefox, Int Explorer, Safari): http://www.cooliris.com/site/support/ I also use Previews by the same company to preview links before clicking on them.
