I wanted to let everyone know that I placed a half-page ad in Amma's

summer North American tour brochure. I have taken Amma's words to

heart about believing in myself, and also her wonderful words about

music: " Pure music is as big as space...it is the secret of allowing

the sound of the Universe to flow through you. "

 

I know not everyone is able to see Amma on tour, or visit her ashrams,

so I thought I would mention my ad here, and its purpose. I have

wanted to have a career as a musical performer, but have found it very

difficult to do that. Facing the challenges of relating with people

that I have encountered when I have shared from my heart has been very

difficult for me, and I've instead chosen to take a back seat instead

of doing what I can to face my difficulties. Somehow people do not see

what is really here, and I have not had an easy time of sharing it

past their misunderstandings. (It's a bit like what's going on in the

press right now over Barack Obama' comments about Pennsylvania

residents and Hillary Clinton's slant on that to gain political

advantage.)

 

I am choosing now to face these difficulties of mine when confronted

by others' perceptions and distortions, thanks to Amma's influence. I

want what I do and share to be useful and inspiring to others. This

includes writing and performing songs, sharing research and ideas, and

telling stories to integrate it all. For what I am beginning to offer

by way of stories, information, ideas and research, following is my
