Guest guest
namaste, this is a wonderful book to read esp for anyone into healing Joel Goldsmith went deep into the teachings of Christ and became a very effective healer and it seems Self-Realized in one chapter on prayer, he points out that it is ok to start off with words to point us in the right direction but, that words and thoughts should stop and leave us in a silent receptive listening attitude only then will the Presence of God fill us up he also found that that was necessary for effective healing he said that in order to stop his mind/thoughts, all he had to do was say " there are not two powers in the world, only one power God. " I used that phrase paraphrased in one of my prayers without giving credit; sorry, hope this makes up; but from my reading of many many spiritual books, the essence of that has been expressed by so many; it's just one way of expressing the ultimate reality of " non-duality; " for instance the first tenet of Sufism is : " there is only the One-God( Self ) and nothing other than the One-God( Self ) " om, amarnath
