Guest guest
I just started a poll about using webcams and the Stickam.com service (wacky stuff on there with regular folks and live streams). I've recently been experimenting with video-calls using MS Lifecams (good for the price, but quality problems concerning the audio). The vx-6000 seems the best and is going cheap on Ebay but I think they got a bad shipment in. Online reviews and a used one I bought has the audio problem. But the 6000 works better than the 7000 and the notebook version of the 6000 is ok. I'll soon be getting a used 3000 in the mail to try out, since the 6000 is a little overkill. They work great on WinLive Messenger but Skype was choppy. I was thinking with enough like-minded folks and scheduling we could try an interactive satsang for those far from one locally, or at least I could do a webcast using my old format and anyone could view it, whether they have a webcam or not. If these were my old days of living on my own, doing one more than once-per-week would be a reality, but now, I might be able to do one once a week. I'm just tossing the idea out right now, I still need to clean-up my room and set-up my second computer/cams to do some bhajan-learning vids for YT. I'll probably setup a separate account for the bhajan learning vids since they could get numerous. tom
