Guest guest
Namah Shivaya, all, I wanted to touch base about the prayer list and see if anyone has any thoughts or concerns. Your prayers are really making a big difference. Here are some examples: Someone who was in so much pain from arthritis and other issues that he could hardly get around and hasn't been able to stand to sing in years has had an operation this past fall which has left him in the best shape I've known him to be in. He climbs stairs, stands to sing and conduct choirs. He can shovel snow again after two winters unable to do it. Doctors are amazed at how well he's doing. He considers it a miracle. The family of someone with terminal lung cancer is continuing to feel strong and resolved, able to carry on with what they have to do. While the last round of chemo was not successful, one of the family members has told me that she absolutely feels Amma's grace sustaining her and the whole family, and that the prayers are definitely working. Someone who's been in increasing trouble for drugs for a few years now was added to the prayer list in December and has been clean since early January. It's hard, but she's hanging on. Thank you so much for your continued support of this prayer seva. Does anyone feel that the list is getting too long and unwieldy, or is it ok? In the past, I think that the list was restarted every few months to keep it from getting too long. Should I do this sometime soon and ask everyone to re-send their prayer requests for the new list, or should we just carry on as is?
