AFTER THE SHOW....

I am reading the book and it is truly an amazing experience!

 

The concepts are very profound, the kind of information many of us

have been immersing ourselves in for many years!!! --and Oprah is

bringing this to MILLIONS of people!

WOWIE ZOWIE!!!

 

Oprah's Intention: Inject a LEVEL OF SPIRITUALITY into people without

people freaking out about it being 'spiritual.'

 

PARADIGM SHIFT, for sure!!!

Oprah has been talking spirituality literally for YEARS! She is quite the

inspiriration for millions-myself included. Her personal story is also nothing

short of amazing. She is really an example of the American dream. She would

probably be quite open to a hug from Amma.

below is my post from another forum:

Namaste to Everyone,

 

I look at it slightly different.

With this Oprah-Tolle project,

I feel a possibility of what Darcie questioned about

The possibility of a phase transition on a large scale

I'm not saying it definitely will happen,

but if it does, great !

 

I did listen to CDs of " A New Earth " some time ago

and felt at that time, it was just a rehash

of " The Power of Now "

with a lot more words and stories

 

" The Power of Now " did help me

with a significant shift in my understanding

of spirituality and its ultimate goal.

(I read it at Amritapuri Library)

 

But now, as we started to listen to " A New Earth "

my awareness goes to the heart and tears come;

the words are no longer a rehash of what I

felt I already " knew; " there is something deeper:

 

" Is it really possible, or just my well wishes,

that the Self has decided to Awaken

on such a large scale? "

 

And save the human race from self-extinction !

(which Amma said was/is? a possibility)

 

I see the Self, these days, expressing itSelf

through many beautiful spiritual teachers

to meet the needs of such a various human race

 

The Self, in expressing via the vehicle we call Tolle,

has stayed away from the baggage of religious terminology,

dogma and complicated abstract spiritual concepts.

 

It just may be happening?

A collective " phase transition "

 

This doesn't take anything away from all the other

great teachers currently living and working toward the

same goal from various angles.
