Guest guest
Namah Sivaya All, I am sitting here in a motel room in Castro Valley getting ready to head over to the Ashram for the New Year's Eve Whoopteedo. Maheshvara and Misha are in Amritapuri and Misha is blogging the experience on tribe.net. http://tinyurl.com/2w5bzp if you might be interested. I thought I would share a prayer from one of her recent entries: Aum Sri Gurubyo Namaha Hari Aum Beloved Amma, through what is called my " heart " a steady river of love flows out toward You. Please, Devi, may I be present in You, that this devotional easy love will flow towards all beings—as You are. Thank you. May we know and directly perceive that You are the substratum through which all of our thoughts, actions, and words pass. May we behold You as You truly are, to better love You and finally experience the joy of the truth. May my every act of lying down be a lying down at your infinitely adorable feet. Thank you for the ineffably precious blessing of sitting by your feet this evening. Amma, you say that the unfolding is part effort and part grace, but I know that it is all grace. The effort itself is grace, however challenging it is, grace that makes the oppourtunity and the way and may I always remember to be deeply grateful for all that You have given me. And to remember the joy of selflessness. May all beings understand that you are Satchitananda, and by knowing You are, they will know that they are! It is! It is! I love you, Amma. When you test my love may I be willing to bow and serve. I offer this to you believing that through the act of offering that which is unfit, one day there will be a pure offering and I will know myself as You! Jai Mata Amritanandamayi Devi! Jai Kali MA. Happy New Year! Mike
