If anyone's interested in booking a hotel in Dearborn for Amma's tour

Nov 28 thru Dec 3rd, Hotwire has a good deal for Doubletree Hotel in

Dearborn for $55 (instead of $85 on amma.org) BTW I booked all my hotel

rooms for Amma's Summer tour on hotwire.com, you get great prices on 3

start hotels on hotwire.

Go to Hotwire.com, enter the checkin/checkout dates and select the " 3

Star Hotel in Dearborn, MI " for $55 (Hotwire doesn't display hotel

names till you complete reservation - since I did you know its

Doubletree).

Email me at ravichivukula at hotmail if you need any further help.

Hey Rick,

Sorry for the delay getting back to you.

Although Dearborn is not a large city, Hotwire does not guarantee that if

you book a 3-star room only hotel in Dearborn that you will stay at the

Doubletree.

You may be likely to, if that's the hotel Hotwire customers are getting when

they book 3-star properties for Amma's tour, but remember that Hotwire does

not guarantee a specific hotel until after you make your nonrefundable

payment, unless you are booking one of its vacation packages that include

airfares and/or rental cars.

Hope this helps.

Rick,

Yes I agree Hotwire doesn't display the Hotel name until you after you

complete the purchase, I had mentioned this in my email. But I also

mentioned that there's ONLY ONE 3-Star Hotel listed by Hotwire in the

Dearborn area and that is Doubletree as confirmed by me since I have

confirmed my reservation there.

Thank you,

Ravi Chivukula

Just to clarify this is a temporary situation only, I guess Hotwire can

change the hotel anytime.

Anyway it would be hard for me to explain to anyone who has not used

Hotwire, but if you go check out the website it will be clear enough.

You don't have to be a professional Travel agent to figure this out -

like I said I traveled to all cities during Amma's tour and I always got

a 3 star hotel for half the price listed for hotels where Amma's

programs were hosted and all of these were less than 5 miles from the

program location - of course I always rented a car( I rent cars from

Priceline.com).

P.S. Rick I will offer free ride to you for Amma's programs if you end

up anywhere else other than Doubletree.

Anyway - I have room for 3 in my car for 11/28 - 12/2 Michigan programs

and if anyone needs a ride to/from Doubletree or anywhere else close by

to Amma's programs please let me know. Also I arrive in DTW at 3:44 pm

and return flight is on Monday at 3:19 pm so if anyone needs ride

to/from airport to Dearborn please let me know as well.

Thanks Ravi. How did you decided to bid $55 instead of $50 or $60 or

whatever? Is the price influenced by whether you have one or two people in

the room?

Rick,

The advantage of Hotwire over priceline is that there is no bidding.

You specify a city and Hotwire will list all the special deals for

example - " 3 Start hotel in Dearborn for $55 " . The only catches are

you don't know the hotel name and you have to pay upfront with no

cancellation allowed.

However you can purchase an insurance to cover for any trip

cancellations if you would like. Just log on to hotwire.com and you

will get the idea.
