Guest guest
Hi all, I've just received a message from a mutual friend, who was asked by Linden to contact me about the videos I've posted on Youtube. I've called but got no answer, but won't take any action until I get direct authorization from Linden himself. The message to me was that Linden was called by someone from Ammachi's organization yesterday concerning the videos because they found out he was the one who made those films. They told him that Amma was unhappy that the videos were put on the internet for various reasons concerning the fundraising and charity work of the organization. They also mentioned the possibility of copyrighting the videos to get them off the internet. Linden wanted to know if I'd be willing to take the home videos he made off of youtube to avoid any conflict or potential copyright issues. Like I said, I won't take them down until I hear personally from Linden. One of the reasons I wanted to post them was for newer devotees to see what it was like in the earlier years, aside from the " Vintage Amma " video and the Taos one they sell. The Taos one looks " staged " and too much like a modern program, whereas the ones I've uploaded are more genuine and candid. I can see where the shift from spiritual to charitable is a change that's not slowing in Amma's org. If Linden does want them down, I'll wait until Sunday night to let people check out and/or download any that they haven't seen yet. If they are taken down, I'll be dropping any DVD copies-project, sorry. It's just that with so many hours to " render " it'd take more than a weekend to do it. Even if I just did 1987, all the rendering, copying and mailing wouldn't take a priority for me for my other projects that need attention. tom
