Guest guest
Sridhar Silberfein, the producer of the River of Love video about Amma's life, contacted me regarding getting copies of the video into prisons. As some of you know, getting ANYTHING into prisons is a challenge. We could get this wonderful video into juvenile and adult facilities by working with other volunteer or professional organizations who go into jails and prisons to work with prisoners. It would take a little research and networking plus a meeting to show the video to people working with juvenile or adult facilities on a cyclic basis. It could also be brought by any one of you into homeless shelters. What do homeless shelters have ot do with prisons/prisoners? That is where many prisoners wind up after their release from prison. Having somebody who has been touched by Amma and has been in prison or in a shelter themselves share River of Love and their experiences with Amma would be a very powerful way to share the video. Is there anybody out there who is excited about helping this happen? This is a great project for a satsang group which would love to help Amma's Prison Outreach but isn't ready for direct contact with inmates. Get back to me at circle.of.love.inside about this if you want to be the lead or help in the project or if you are willing to speak to your local satsang group about doing it. There could be several local satsang groups working on it. If you yourself haven't seen River of Love yet, borrow it from somebody and watch it. It's a great substitute for the so-called Reality shows, the endless game shows and the bad new News! Jai Ma! Aikya
