I just tested the special VCR and it's taking care of the shakes and

lines in at least the '89 and Sai satsang footage. Didn't get a

chance to test the '88 video, but I'll guess it'd be good too. The

TBC is working as it should, and there's a nice sharpness control

slider that really makes the picture look great. The only strange

thing is that it practically shoots the tape at you when it ejects.

I'm off on Monday so I'll make it a priority to finally get these old

vids up on Youtube. I'm also inspired to check with Linden and my

other sources about the old Devi Bhava and Devi Puja footage that i

know is out there, but haven't come across yet. There's a chance that

the new VCR will improve those vids too.

I've finally got my set-up decent to start converting Swami P's talks.

If I'm able to get them done by the end of the month, the entire

set should be available on CD during this Fall's U.S. tour, but don't

quote me on it. (I hope they keep the price down to $7 or below)

I'll also be putting onto CD some of the old online satsangs that were

originally live-streams, back when they did them. Not sure if those

will be produced for sale, but I'll at least provide them to the

ashrams for archives. I remember there were a few good ones from

Swami P, although the audio was typical low-bandwith swirling.

If any of you know Stephen Ellwood (from the DC area, but now in

California), give him a big thank-you, because without his

underwriting, I would never have been able to get the special

commercial-grade VCR that's making all the difference in converting

the old Amma stuff. If anyone knows of other cities' old Amma

footage that needs this special treatment to look good, please have

them contact me. I can help in converting the videos, even if it's

just for the ashrams' archives.
