Gratitude for the Prayer List

Dear Friends,

I just wanted to personally thank all of you who work with Amma's

prayer list. I have had a few loved ones posted on the list and i can say

that your prayers have been a Blessing. I have had to request a few

changes to the list, one a happy change and the other a sad one. Johanna

V-healing from lung cancer, will be changed to prayers for Johanna V- may

her soul finally meet Amma. My Aunt Jo, who was also my dear friend,

passed away suddenly and peacefully two weeks ago. We had been told by

the doctors that Jo had another 6 months with us due to the treatments

she was undergoing, but her poor body was struggling for every breath and

it looked like life for her would get harder and more painful down the

road. The day after she told us she didn't want to live like this any

more, she peacefully and calmly left her body. I felt Amma's Loving

Presence, and the gift of your prayers surrounding us thru this time.

Another change has been more joyful for us. The post to the prayer

list for Carly R and Baby Lola now reads -with Gratitude and Thanks for a

happy and healthy birth on 9/19/07! I was allowed to stay with my

daughter and her partner during the labor and delivery. Carly's main

attending nurse was a Yoga practitioner who had traveled to India a few

times and knew of Amma. I was allowed to give Reiki and assistance to my

daughter all during active labor, and i chanted the mantra Amma gave to

me in Boston all day long. The birth was...amazing! I am attaching a

photo of Lola, 1 hour after her birth, with her Amma doll that her Aunt

Gloria gifted to her, that Amma Blessed this past Summer in Boston.

Again, thank you all for your fine service to this prayer list. I felt

Amma's loving strength and support during the passing of one beloved

soul, and the arrival of another... In Amma's Service, mare
