I'll be adding an Introduction video for each program that will give some background information... (ahh foreshadowing...) I've researched the image problems and the " clear water " effect that's so common in the vids is caused by time-base problems. This is caused by normal stretching of the tape in places. It can be corrected as long as the problem is on the current cassette and not the original or whatever you copied it from. This is why making another copy doesn't help the conversion. The only option is the invest in expensive semi-professional grade equipment, such as a special series of JVC brand VCR's that have built in TBC (time-base correction) and DNR (digital 'noise' reduction). Also, a separate external TBC (frame, not line) and maybe even a " proc amp " might help, but nothing's guaranteed in the realm of video conversion. Add to that the Youtube " fog " and it's not that great. In other words, right now this is the best you get. I may try to get a used JVC with TBC/DNR off Ebay later, but now it's not a financial priority. Not all the vids are that bad.
