Guest guest
Is this the one, from Santa Fe #6? Life is a play (Ishwara Lila) Life is a play so enchanting. All of this world is divinely created. With no beginning, nor end to the mystery, Mother, Your play is eternal. 1. Millions of forms are born out of unity, changing yet ever the same. All of the universe watches in rapture, the story of Truth everlasting. 2. Long, long ago in a heavenly dream, Truth was a vast golden sea. We were the waves always rising and falling, one with the mystical ocean. 3. What is the purpose of praising and blaming, taking the play to be real? When do the stars ever question the sky? Oh Mother, the world is Your garden. Guest guest
Actually, the words are different on the recording. I'd say about 60% of the lyrics are sung as written, and the rest is different. Is there another source for lyrics that may have an updated version? Many thanks! -Achyut Ammachi , " tom " <tomgull wrote: > > Is this the one, from Santa Fe #6? > > Life is a play (Ishwara Lila) > > Life is a play so enchanting. Guest guest
The lyrics I gave are from the CD jacket and from the 2002 Bhajan Supplement. I know some of the original Indian songs have tons of verses, like Omkara Divya Porule's, Sri Lalitambike, etc., but the English version for the albums usually have a normal western time-limit to a song. It's possible there were many verses done, but only some recorded. If that's the case, seeing the original Indian lyrics with translation may help decipher the words. tom Ammachi , " Rufus Juskus " <rufmanj wrote: > > Actually, the words are different on the recording.
