Guest guest
Namaste, Ananthasree. You know, I'm not sure that she did. She told us " There is no such thing as spiritual laziness. " And said that all of the different techniques were different ways to help focus the mind, and overcome the feeling OF laziness. And also that: " What you (he) need is a good beating with the Guru's stick! " (Apologies to any newcomers who find that kind of phrasing uncomfortable, but after a while on the spiritual path, many of us seem to need a good kick in the pants so to speak.) But I wasn't able to write all of what She said on this point down on paper -- although it was actually quite a brief reply, per Shakti's request that She " keep in mind " a consolidation of instructions for someone who was fairly lazy. What else... hmmm... ah, the purple notebook: " Suppose some one breaks your leg, will you still be too lazy to go to the hospital, have it set, plastered, be pushed around in a wheelchair, etc. No. Same thing. " " Say you are a good student but you refuse to study. You will go to hell. " (And She shrugged and put Her hands in the air... Me being a prolonged graduate student, well, I am trying to take that one to heart. But again, don't read too much literally into " go to hell, " especially all you infiltrators out there! ; ) ) " So if you don't utilize your potential, you go to the dogs. " " So when we write a letter, we keep in mind who we are writing to. Same thing when we pray. " " You talk over the phone for hours, you are not lazy about that. " Did anyone catch more than I did on this part of the Q & A??? On 6/20/07, ananthasree <ananthasree wrote: > > > Did Amma answer about the Manasa puja?
