Guest guest
Om Namah Shivaya, Just returned from the homeless services center, where several " Amma field trippers " received their blessed pictures of Amma. They also want blessed water. The center's manager approached me enthusiastically, saying that I don't need to ask permission anymore about posting information for the trips to Amma, since it's been approved. He was amazed that so many people participate in the trips. I mentioned that it's not about religion, but about love & service. He replied, " I know, I know. " Then, he offered an events coordinator's contact information, to provide a free van for the next trip. He said we may be able to even work something out for a Devi Bhava trip, which many of the guests said they wanted to attend. Today the 3 participants who I saw were very eager to return to the MA Center for a day of seva. They would also like to stay for bhajans. The free van may be used for these trips, too. One man whose joined all 3 trips to Amma said he'll go as long as they happen. Today when I asked another man about his darshan, he relayed how Amma effected his 3rd. eye before the physical darshan. A woman had moved to Santa Cruz from the Hayward/San Ramon the week prior to the trip. Her Indian father passed away in her youth after which she was severely criticized by her mother for being of Indian descent. She had met her Indian grandmother for just 15 minutes. She had felt so drawn towards the Indian culture & traditions of spirituality. She was delighted to be surrounded by these in the temple. She cried shortly after entering the hall, & Amma had her sit next to Her after her darshan. When she started to get up, Amma motioned for her to sit back down next to Her. Another man had missed Amma's physical darshan during last Nov.'s homeless center's trip to Amma, but felt that was OK & he still got a lot from Amma. This time during his first physical darshan from Amma, She spoke to him in another language. He felt that he began to understand Amma's words on a deep level & that She was saying he was an ancient being & he needed to meditate every day. Amma also asked him to sit near Her. He does have very deep, soulful looking eyes Another woman didn't feel comfortable getting darshan, yet. But, she stood close by observing others' darshans. Later she asked for my phone number. When I asked why, she said she wouldn't mind going back to the MA Center. Yet another woman had just arrived in Santa Cruz, I believe from Canada. She wants to to return to the MA Center & see more of Amma. The group from the day rehab center where I work had a very blessed day of probably more healing than many days of treatment. One person saw how a spiritual life would be really good. He/she felt happy & free after darshan .... the same feelings he/she sought through substance abuse. Another person relayed that people are saying he/she looks different after seeing Amma. This person also felt the kundalini energy doing something in their lower back during darshan. This person's eyes are noticably much clearer & brighter than before. Another person had bought an archana booklet a previous year & chanted Amma's 108 names. It was really nice that this person could meet Amma. Another one was visibly glad to hear that Amma visits the state where he/she plans to move. Thank you to everyone for your prayers & other help, to bring these beautiful souls to Amma. You have my deep gratitude. Witnessing these groups' darshans has been an amazingly joyous & truly heart warming experience. Building a website is a piece of cake. Small Business gives you all the tools to get online.
