" God is of the nature of bliss. Therefore, we can live happily if we

can live in God. Faith is needed for that. " - Vol. 1 p49

" The thought that " I am the doer " should go. God is the doer. The mind

should be always fixed in God. " - Vol. 1 p49

" It is God alone who is looking after you at all times. Son, bondage

is nothing but the feeling " I am doing " . " - Vol. 1 p57

 

" Full faith means Realization. " - Vol. 1 p60

 

" The Lord's Name should always be remembered without wasting time

associating with friends and cutting jokes. " - Vol. 1 p50

" Mental purity will come through constant chanting of the Divine Name.

This is the simplest way. " - Vol. 1 p60

 

" There are some who take God's Will to be fate. There are people who

think that it is unchangeable. This is not correct. We perform actions

according to our vasanas, the result of which will eventually come to

us. " - Vol. 1 p50

" The fruits of the actions which we have done in our previous births

is known as our fate. Fate can be changed and transformed through

self-effort, i.e. through sincere prayer and meditation. " - Vol. 1 p50

 

" All religions are good. All religions which help one to realize God

are good. If the path is not helpful for that, then it cannot be

accepted nor considered religion. Religion is that which helps

Self-Realization occur. " - Vol. 1 p51

 

" You children are all lucky. You have a mind to relinquish samsara at

such a young age, don't you? This is not possible within one

lifetime's merit. This is the fruit of many lifetime's merit. Also, we

might have met together before. Otherwise we could not be joined

together like this. Some of those who come here seem very familiar (to

Mother). It is impossible to get separated once we met. They do not

think about the opposition and difficulties from their families. This

is why some do not even feel like going home. " - Vol. 1 p51

 

" In the beginning, the Guru will tell the disciple, who is a

practitioner, " The world is an illusion. Rejecting it, become

established in the Self " . This is to speed up the sadhana. But at

last, when he reaches Realization, he will understand that this whole

world is part of God. Then there will be nothing to reject. Everything

will be only to love and serve. " - Vol. 1 p54

 

" That " I " which fills the whole universe is the real " I " . When the

awareness that " I am not the body, I am the Self " awakens, we will

understand that nothing is different from Brahman( The Absolute ). At

that time, we will know through experience that everything is " I "

alone. " - Vol. 1 p55

 

Q: Mother, what is meant by freedom?

Mother: Freedom from worldly existence. Freedom from the cycle of

birth and death. - Vol. 1 p59

 

" ...there is one thing which is natural to me. The nature to love.

Love constantly flows from me to the creation. " - Vol. 1 p60

 

Note: Since above is from Volume 1 of " Awaken Children, "

these Amma Words were spoken to Her earliest devotees.
