If everything is the Mother, then even this statement is coming from HER. We are all EQUAL in the eyes of the Divine. Each has the chance to Realize God. In one way, even someone struggling and living on the street is fulfilling their plan in some way. They are still responsible for finding PEACE within themselves. One has to be open to Divine Will and have Faith in themselves and God. We are more apt to serve humanity when we are Self-sustaining and WHOLE within ourselves. We live in a complex reality....no matter how you try to look at it, it can point to separation if we highlight any one group or situation over another... What can we say about all of the people who are living in spiritual poverty....the huge majority who are caught in the delusion of separation. Many are serving the poor and serving in their regular jobs and also in their free time. Myself included. I have not spoken of the work that I do, but it supports children and families in underserved and multicultural communities. I also sponsor a child in South America. I support Amma's charities, I support myself and can get by with what I make for a living. I live within simple means... (This is just to illustrate a point, I would prefer to share inspiring words to help others find love and peace within themselves to continue on their journeys.) When you study the lives of various saints and spiritual seekers, many forgo a life of material comfort and live a life of material poverty to pursue their spiritual goals and a life of service. Amma helps others in many ways...not all are on the same path at the same time....some are spiritual seekers and others are in need of food, clothing, housing and education. There are many levels happening all at once....I am saying lets honor and be aware of them all....and somehow and at some point we do need to detach from our own stories and selves so that we can serve in any way we are called upon to serve. Not to personalize it is also important...this may not make sense.... Is there a middle ground?
