Guest guest
Om Namah Sivaya Hello Everyone, I was hoping to find out if anyone has the list of bhajan names from the Bengali cd's. When I bought the cd's they were only selling copied versions without the titles listed. Now I am having hard time trying to find them in the Bhajan books. If anyone has the list of names, it would help me out a great deal. I would really really appreciate if you could send them to me. Thanks. Many Blessings of Light & Love In Amma, Maxi

Sharanam Amriteshwari 2. Dhanyo Dhanyo 3. Guru Gaurango 4. Guru kripa 5. Ram ram bolo 6. Kichore ashihe (Bengali version of Kuch na le) 7. Shreepodo 8. Jay Kalyani 9. Jetha Dekhi (bengali verion of Jahan dekhu) I like #3 (Guru gauranga) mucho! nice bouncy melody - unfortunately it's not found in Bhajanamritam books, though I transcribed the words by repeatedly listening to the CD and then running down a bengali speaking co-worker. Guest guest
Namah Sivaya Keval, Thank you so much!! I really appreciate it. This was driving me mad! Lol, I really like these bhajans and couldn't find them anywhere. Does anyone have vol. 3 as well? Otherwise, I might try doing the same (transcribing the words) for vol. 3. That's a good idea, until I can get the names of the bhajans. Thanks a million Keval! Joy Ma! Guest guest
Namah Shivaya Maxi, As far as I know there were 3 volumes of Bengali Bhajan CDs when it was released first. I think later they condensed them into 2 volumes, as there were some repeats. Please note that many of these bhajans are NOT in the bhajan books (especially those sung by the male voice) and some of them are the Bengali translations of Amma's original bhajans. The bhajans on these CDs are remarkable, I heard that even Amma loves them and She listens to them while She is traveling. Vol 1: ======= 01 Ma Jagadambe 02 Iswari Jagadiswari 03 Anandame 04 Sharan Davo 05 Sharan Melo 06 Guru Gaurango 07 Eshar Thumi 08 Sharanam Amriteshwari 09 De Darshan Ma 10 Kucha Na Le 11 Jahan Dekhu Vol 2: ============= 01 Sharanam Amriteshwari 02 Dhanyo 03 Guru Gaurango 04 Gurukripa 05 Ram Ram Bolo 06 Kichune Ashish 07 Shreepodo 08 Jai Kalyani 09 Jetha Dekhi Vol 3: ============= 01 O Maa Ambe 02 Bolo Joy Maa 03 Joy Maa Joy Maa Joy Maa Bole 04 Japo Naam Japo Naam Japo Shree Ra 05 Om Namah Shivaya Shiva Sundaraya 06 Nithyam Shudham Neerakaram 07 Krishno Murari 08 Tonu Moni Hope this helps. - in Amma's serivce -Gopinath --- maxs8121 <Ammaschilde wrote: > Namah Sivaya Keval, > Thank you so much!! Guest guest
Namah Sivaya Gopinath, A million Thank you's!! I did finally recieve your email, sorry about that. I don't know what to say, my gratitude cannot be expressed enough. Sometimes it is the very simple things we do, that make a difference in peoples lives- that open up our hearts. The other day I was sitting in the train and I sat so that I had enough room on both sides of me. I was being selfish because I knew I could move a few inches over to make more room for others. At the next stop there were quite a few people that came in. Two of them sat to my right side and then another woman said 'there's more than enough room for us all to sit'. I was looking down, trying to make it seem like I wasn't paying attention, until she asked me to move over. So I did, and thinking back I realize how subtle our nasty thoughts can be. It's an immediate association we have with people, a label, a judgement, your thoughts don't even have to be necessarily words, they can be feelings as well. When I moved over, I was slightly annoyed and thought this woman was sort of snotty and bossy. Then a few seconds later, she turned to me and with the sweetest voice said 'Thank you sweetie'. Those very simple, kind words.. opened me up. It was like nectar, she was the sweetest woman in that very moment and my heart opened. I sat next to her like she was my darling Amma. All it took was for her to say three simple words and I thought she was like heaven on earth. Simple things, simple gestures make a world bit of a difference. Thank you to all my beautiful brothers and sisters who choose for that one moment- an act of kindness. Guest guest
Dear Ammas child, Thank you so much for this post. It is a sweet story and a reminder for me. Amma is everywhere and in each and every one of us. I have a similar story to share... One day my husband and I were in Miami, going to the big rehab hospital at Jackson Memorial hospital for therapy(my husband is in a wheelchair) We had been repeatedly warned not to go on the train, not to go to this or that part of town, because they were dangerous areas and we could be taken advantage of, robbed or worse. One evening we were coming back from dinner and going thru this sort of hallway/tunnel that connected our hotel to a shopping mall. The hallway was dark and I had many packages hooked onto the back of my husband's wheelchair. At that time he had a manual chair and I was pushing him because he was tired. As we entered the dark hallway, we passed a homeless man who was sitting on the floor and had been staring at us. I nodded and said hello, and as soon as we passed him he got up and started to follow us. All of a sudden I got to thinking of all the warnings we had been getting and I started to get nervous. So I started walking a little faster and pushing the chair a little harder. The faster I went, the closer the man behind us followed. I was relieved to see the doorway to the hotel in sight when the man behind us started to run. I braced myself for whatever would come, when he pushed by us, ran to grab the door, and opened it for us to pass. I looked at him and he had the sweetest smile on his face. After all this nonsense, all he wanted to do was help us. I was so ashamed.....He was an angel sent to help us in a little way. A small act of kindness.... Guest guest
Namah Sivaya Mare, what a beautiful story. Thank you so much for sharing. It is very true that these experiences which are seemingly insignificant help us reflect at that moment, take us within and open up.. these 'small acts' of kindness are truly wonderful spiritual teachings. Thank you. Jai Ma! Ammachi , Mary Ellen Robinson <mare3 wrote: > > Dear Ammas child, > Thank you so much for this post. It is a sweet story and a reminder > for me.
