Sisters and brothers, listen.

Make your heart crystal clear within.

Your senses will be opened

and your soul so transparent

that we will see

into

the wisdom

of God.

Do you wish to have love?

If

you wish to have love,

then

you must leave

love.

God replied:

I wish always to be your physician,

bringing healing anointment for all your

wounds.

 

If it is I who allow you to be wounded so badly,

do you not believe that I will heal you most

lovingly?

in the very same hour?

From suffering I have learned this:

That whoever

is sore wounded by love

will never be made whole

unless

she embrace the very same love

which wounded her.

When my burdens and sufferings

are held in front of me,

my soul begins to burn with a fire of true divine love

and even my body soars in divine bliss.

 

 

And when I can no longer bear my loneliness

I take it to my friends

for I must share it with all the friends of God.

“Do you suffer?”

“So do I!”

Love the nothing,

flee the self,

Stand alone.

Seek help from no one.

Let your being be quiet,

Be free from the bondage of all things.

Free those who are bound,

Give exhortation to the free.

Care for the sick

but dwell alone.

When you drink the waters of sorrow

you shall kindle the fire of love

with the match of perseverance—

This is the way

to dwell in the desert.
