i read your lovely stories about the crows and the eagle...very

sweet...although i can imagine the reality is somewhat less so when

one is being mobbed by crows stealing one's food right off the plate

at dinner.

 

a Jyotish point, i thought i'd make, however, is that if you really

wanted to feed the crows as a Jyotish remedy, the Jyotishis generally

recommend that you should do so on a SATURDAY, as that is Lord Sani's

day...also they recommend that you should try to feed them something

dark coloured, like black sesame seeds or something like

that...perhaps one could just add something dark TO the egg omelette

that you've been offering them...and of course one should not just do

the offering unconsciously, but rather should do it in a prayerful

manner, praying to Lord Sani for relief, or kindness or whatever,

whilst preparing and offering the food....

 

also a very good remedy for Lord Sani is to do some kindness or

service to older folks, or very poor folks again on a Saturday

especially, as that is the day which resonates most strongly with His

vibes....another idea is to avoid dark colours (which i imagine is

probably not an issue for you at Amritapuri), as well as do not wear

any gemstones associated with Lord Sani, such as blue sapphire, lapis

lazuli, and amethyst...those stones will tend to strengthen his

effects upon you, and if he has been oppressing you, it is better to

not Strengthen him, but rather appease him with service, and feeding

the crows...

 

Also, even WITH such a placement as you and your husband have, Lord

Sani will not be oppressing you equally badly all the time, but rather

more intensely at certain periods in your life, particularly Saturn

Mahadasha, and Bhuktis, and the smaller life periods described by

Jyotish in the vimshottari system....as well, the transits of Saturn

will be influencing just how difficult his oppression would be....for

example during the period of 7 1/2 years when he is transitting

through the house before your birth moon placement, then through your

moon house placement, and finally through the the house after that

Moon placement, will tend to be one of the MOST intense periods of

Sani Oppression for most folks, and it is known as SADE SATI (or

Seven and one half)....

 

i don't quite know how this might affect you at this time, as i don't

know what your chart is looking like, but right now Saturn is in the

Sign of Cancer.....and His aspects are 1-7, 3 and 10, which means that

whatever planet or sign is seven houses away, as well as three signs

aways and ten houses away (counting one for the house that saturn is

in of course....
