" Emptying the mind becomes easier in the presence of a Master. A

Satguru's mere thought, look or touch can bring about tremendous

transformation. " -AMMA

And with joy, my oldest son approached me asking to go with me to see

Amma this summer! This is the first time he will see her. He is 24. I

only have one day off work with my new job and I am taking it to see

Amma. All I do is think of this! I am so happy.

Amma is always working on me and with me. We are so so fortunate to

have a living Master to go and see. She makes it so easy by coming

here. Our good fortune is immeasurable.

love, Happy Easter and Passover

and may all beings be peaceful and happy,

Aum Amritashwaryai Namah,

Adriane

I have a nice story to share along these lines. My

mother has been going through some very challenging

experiences this year...huge really for her. She was

over at my place for dinner a month or so ago and I

was sharing with her some ideas on how to still the

mind, and calm herself, so that she is not so upset

and can have the ability to find creative solutions to

her challenges. I have pictures of saints and Divine

Mothers all around my place.

I was talking about the Divine Mother in general and

God and saying that she can call on God anytime for

help or talk to God any time she is feeling sacred and

share all of her burdens with God.

I suggested that she choose an image of God or the

Divine Mother to speak to, I told her this is much

easier to do, (our cultural background is Jewish, so

this is not a common practice). I was looking around

my room for a photo to suggest and immediately she

exclaimed " I only want AMMA! " I was floored!!!

So I gathered a bunch of photos I had of Ammachi and

let her choose the one she felt most affinity with.

Then, a month or so later, we were went out to dinner

to celebrate my mom's birthday with my cousin and her

fiance. Somehow...we got into a discussion about

Ammachi. And my mother blurts out at one point in this

discussion, " I am going with Stacee to see Amma when

she comes here in June! "

I was just amazed!!! I did not even have to ask her

this time!!!!

It is truly amazing.... I hope as well to bring my

father, and brother along someday. I was close last

year, as my father lives in Connecticut, and while on

the Boston retreat, he came up to meet me for dinner

during the night of Devi Bhava, but he was not ready

to come into the hall to meet Amma. (Close but no

cigar, as they say.)

Dear Stacee and Adriane,

It is wonderful to read that the Love is spreading! My husband, friend

and I went to see Amma for the first time 4 years ago in Boston. When we

came home, we told everyone of our experiences. The next year my Mother

and her best friend came with us. Last year, it was my husband Bill, my

friend, Mom, Pat, my youngest daughter and her massage therapy class.

This year all of these folks will return again for the Public program,

plus my sister, my oldest daughter and a few Aunts...And maybe Dad too! I

am thinking very soon we may have enough to rent a bus to take us there!

hahaha Happy Easter. In Amma's Love, mare

Temba, Mare and Stacy-these stories are all so wonderful. Amma says

that we do not know when we will be called to her. Everyone comes at

a different time and that we were with her before.

My mother and sister shocked me a few years back in wanting to see

Amma as well. My mother went with me and then thanked Amma for being

in her daughter's life! My mother went all the way-got a mantra,

mandala and the works. She has not been drawn to go again to see Amma

since that time a few years ago. My sister waxes and wanes about

seeing her. She told me that my mother went just for me. I know

better. Amma called her! LOL...My mother also burst into tears every

time she saw Amma come into the hall. We all know what that is like!

Jai Ma!

-I have something to share about Amma coming coincidence or not last

year i thought it would be special for me if Amma came to NYC on the

day my mother was born ( I do not know why I thought like this but

just like a symbolism ) . However I looked at the dates back then and

noticed that

Jul 13 falls in the middle of July . For the past few years Amma is in

NYC usually at the end of July . Wow this year Amma has DEvi Bhava on

the day my mom was born . This might be silly and small but here it is !

It signifies to me Amma is my MOM , not that before I did not know

just little reminder. I walked to a very small Video store near our

house they usually have very small selection of movies , which movie

do I see brightly displayed hmmm " DARSHAN " yes Amma is coming indeed.

blessings to All sad or happy
