I tried to use simple English due to Subrat's infamiliarity with the language. His original message is below. It typifies the mood that plagues many young Indians. VP Dear Subrat, I am surprised u speak of not having feelings for religion or community? u think that is good? are you telling me that with pride? does that mean something positive? The media wants us all to be mindless consumers. they try to make people think it is bad to have feelings for religion and community or a sense of commitment to one's own tradition and culture. Like I told u I would not give money to anyone because I have no money to give. If I did have money I would give it to poor people in my own country. Charity starts at home. In America we have millions of homeless and hungry people. Jesus said Healer heal your self. I will be honest with you. The truth is you have feelings.
