Just the first story images that come to your mind, re Vedic literature, like after a dream, share it out, if you are not ready with exact dates on exact works. Just give me some of the flavor that stands out to us talking Vedas in summer 2008. Most prominent icon. Too many deities to track. Too diverse to characterize? Passively I would know if a response was way off track. Yet I want some nuggets, some in a nutshell paragraphs, that put perspective, candidly, on main works called Vedas.
