The aim of REACH Foundation is to

Preserve and conserve the built up heritage - Remains of India

mostly in rural area with the participation of the villagers and

stake holders of the heritage sites and buildings.

Educate rural mass about making temples reach its pristine glory and

percentage of money earned from the SHGs (self help group) started

by REACH to be utilized for renovation works of the Foundation.

To educate the mass about the importance of preserving old

historical monuments and scriptures

To teach youth how to decipher interpret and carry out research on

kalvettus (Inscriptions) and ancient scriptures,

To aid economically weak scholars, Traditional Artists, Pundits and

artisans to improvise their living conditions and hence their art.

To encourage the use of traditional building materials and extend

helping hand in developing indigenous methodology and conduct

research to develop advanced technology

To make a Forum for corporate and philanthropists to contribute to

the reconstruction of ruined heritage buildings.

To generate employment in rural area adjoining the heritage sites by

conducting theme- tours to unknown tourist spots, with the help of

trained guides

To train rural educated youths as Tourist Guides.

All history and heritage lovers, enthusiasts who want their culture

to be preserved can contribute to this great idea in following ways:

Identify and intimate us through emails, mails or phone about the

temples and other heritage Buildings which are in ruins.

Photographs, geographical location with road maps would be ideal.

This would help us in creating a database.

Generate interest in like minded youth and develop groups who can

volunteer in our cleaning and reconstruction activities.

Inform us about any other group you know similar to this, their work

and contact details. We would be glad to publicize their work too

through our forum and website.

Spare some regular amount every month for this cause

Write and make all friends, philanthropists and wealthy living in

foreign shores to know about REACH and make them also share our

project costs and build up awareness about Indian cultural sites to

their foreign counterparts

Encourage theme tourism and help friends visit Tamilnadu with a new

perspective through REACH Foundation.

Dear Indians, it is our duty to retain the lost glorious past and

the symbols of our history. There are thousands of temples and

heritage sites lying in ruins, waiting to unfold the real history to

this modern world. Once lost, it can't be retrieved. It is time for

us to join hands with R.E.A.C.H. Foundation of conserve our heritage.

Please help us spread the message. Next time when someone pass

across a ruined temple, request them to pass the message to us.
