I am Anand from Banglore , i have doubt that Visigoths & Ostragoths are hindus

who ruled the rome .because they are from aryan race & also we known that aryan

relligion is hinduisim .Visigoths & Ostragots are germanic tribe who ruled the

rome ,but they had migrated from Asia .See in google -Migrations of the main

column of the Visigoths & historians are telling that their relligion is

paganisim & aryanisim christhinty later they converted christhinty .is this

historians are mis guideing us. because paganisim & aryanisim itself is

Hindusim. in their name itself tells that their hindus like Visigoths are Vishnu

gothra & Ostragoths means Ostragothra . & we all known Aryan's major god is

Vishnu .

 

I need more information on this subject .kindly conduct reserach on this .I

tried to join gothic but modrater rejected me because i told them.

they are hindus from aryan race .

My understanding is that the IE races that were not Germanic (so called "Celts" had ties to dravidian cultures, whereas germanic cultures were more closely tied to Vedic culture. There seem to be Connections between the gods Indra, Thor and Perun that go beyond coincidence. I have even heard that the Norse deity Loki owes his name to the term "Loka". If we are going to use terms like "pagan", it might help to operationally define them. By every definition I have ever heard of "pagan", Hinduism fits that terma as well. Although frequently, Heathen is the term used to describe polytheistic religions of Germanic groups.I am very interested in any evidence or research connecting occidental heathenry and paganism to Hinduism. Disatisfied as I am with the current state of "Neo-Pagaism", I find myself looking to Hinduism for clues about Greco-Roman, Nordic and Celtic polytheistic belief systems. I seek to see them stripped of the Americanized "hippy" mentality that I feel is adulterating them. Certainbooks about Shiva and one book in particular ( Anna Moura's History of Modern Witchcraft) give tantalizing, yet unsatisfying glimpses into these connections.There is an artifact caled the Gunderstrup caldron which depicts the Celtic Cernounnos in a manner similar to Lord Pushapati.
