In Rome also, there are temple remains of Mitras who the Westerners

think, were in military of the Roman Empire, and this religion was

there in the Eastern Part of the Empire.

 

Incidentally, 25th December was the Winter Solstice day at the time

of

Jesus Christ. It had shifted ( precesional effect ) to 21st December

by the year 325 AD when the Church held the Gregorian reform of the

calendar at Nicaea.
