An inscription found at a place near Sakti (earlier Bilaspur district)

in Chhattisgarh referred to as Gunji inscription, mentions about one

Raja Kumaravaradatta of having donated 1000 cows to the brahmins (

twice by him and once by his minister). The place name inscribed is

Rishabha teertha. The inscription is assigned to the 2nd Century AD.

Can the group ponder over the antecedents of this ruler.
