Guest guest
Dear all, Kindly note that Ancient India is not a political forum. i had to delete scores of messages received on Ram setu. The previous message on vasudhaika kutumbam was allowed because he is talking of the source of the sentence Vasudhaika Kutumbam and I could not edit it. Coming to read it, some of the contents are certainly out of place on Ancient India. Kindly restrict the political content, especially as it is useful to the present day, to the minimum in discussing these factors. I have no argument in agreeing that learning our past has a bearing on the present. But if we allow political arguments here, this group will become another political forum and loses the sight of its original purpose - studying Ancient Indian History in a factual manner, with out the hiccups of " isms " and schisms. One more aspect to be remembered is please post only research material Radical research or new interpretations of existing facts are certainly welcome but they should be based on facts, as attested by standard text books. In other words, please do not post your beliefs and off hand comments, formed after reading an article. This will cause severe harm to the nature of the group. Hope the members would cooperate, regards, Kishore patnaik
