Dear friends,

We are glad to convey you that Indian Coin Society and INTACH

chapter Gwaliar at Indore on 20-21-22 and 23 rd are organizing the

92nd annual conference of Numismatic Society of India and a grand

coins exhibition September

08.

 

 

 

We are cordially inviting all Numismatists and coin collectors to

participate in both the programmes and grace the occasion.

 

The venue for both programmes is historical place " GANDHI-HALL " M.G.

Road, Indore is centrally located and very near to railway and bus

stand surrounded also by several good hotels.

 

The coin exhibition will be inauargrated on 20th September at 10-

30.Coins will be displayed under the following categories:

 

1-Ancient (up to 1000AD) 2-Medieval (1000 to 1526 AD) 3-Mughal (1526

to 1707 AD)

4-Modern (1707 to 1947 AD) 5- Thematic 6-General (proto

numismatcs/papermoney/seals/medals and articles of numismatic

significance.

 

Prizes-1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes will be awarded in each category.

 

Frame size -2'x3'. Charges @Rs 400 per frame. Maximum 3 frames will

be provided to each participant.

 

Stalls- will be provided @ 5000/ for display/sell/exchange of

numismatical books/accessories/data/coins etc. covering hospitality+

accommodation for two persons.

 

The conference of NSI will be on 21st Sep.08.Three day's seminar and

academic sessions will be presided by Dr.C.S.Gupta, professor & head

(ex) Deptt. of A.I.H.C. & archaeology, Nagpur university.

 

During the seminar on " coinage of Madhya Pradesh, book- coins of

Gwaliar state by Shri Maheshwari will be released.

 

Famous " Todywala Auction " will be an great attraction of the event.

 

Charges for members and delegates-Registration for

event/accommodation and meals is @1000/each.
