Guest guest Posted October 20, 2006 Report Share Posted October 20, 2006 Academy of Indian Numismatics & Sigillography, In collaboration with Indian Coin Society, *Exhibition and Seminar on Coins of India* 18th and 19th November 2006 Dear Sir, We have great pleasure to announce an Exhibition and Seminar on Coins of India on the 18 and 19th November 06 at Shanti-Mandapam, 10, South Tukoganj, INDORE. The venue SHANTI-MANDAPAM is centrally located between Nath Mandir and M.G. Road, surrounded by several hotels within a radius of a kilometer from bus stand and railway station. Exhibition-The exhibition on Coins of India is being held, both competitive as well as non- Competitive one. *The competitive exhibition is being held for the following categories: - 1. Ancient Indian Coins 2.Medieval Indian Coins 3. Modern Indian Coins 4. Thematic 5.Children's Section 6.Others including paper money and any article of Historical importance. Three prizes will be awarded for each section: - * 1st Prize: a gold plated silver medal. * 2nd Prize: a silver medal * 3rd Prize: a bronze medal. *Frames- (2'x3 `) will be available to the participants at the rent of Rs.300 per frame. Maximum 3 frames will be provided to each participant.. For participation in the exhibition, Kindly send your entry with your biodata and details about exhibits by the 10th nov.2006. · Please send your papers for seminar before 10th Nov.06. Stalls- (with two tables) @ Rs.3000 for Books, coin accessories, paper money, medals, tokens and other numismatic data, will be made available with local hospitality (Tea, break fast and lunch) to two persons. * Seminar- The seminar will be held on both the days in two short sessions. Short sessions: morning and evening. Rs.1000 shall be the Delegation Fee. Besides Exhibition and Seminar a Round Table will be organized for young numismatists to provide them guidance as how to collect and study coins. Windows for numismatics publications, accessories for coin collection and other numismatic material will also be provided on the occasion.
