Guest guest
NAMO VITARAGAYA Jay Jinendra Dear friends, Pranam Jainism is the religion of the self-reliant. Jain monks are masters of their own destiny, living only to purify themselves in thought, word and deed by their ascetic conduct and detached benevolence towards all living beings. For a Jain, the great purpose of life is the achievement of liberation. Ascetic vows are the path to liberation. Hence, Jains celebrate with great joy whenever a Jain layperson decides to take up the ascetic vows. We Mumbaikars are indeed blessed that two such fortunate individuals shall take up the ascetic vows in our presence. I am delighted to inform you that Acarya Pushpadantasagara shall bestowJineshvari diksha, giving full ascetic vows to two fortunate individuals - Kshullaka Prameyasagara and Kshullaka Pratijnasagara. Under his headship, they shall take the vows of Jinalingi monks. Another fortunate one, Brahmacari Vishal Jain shall take the vows of a Kshullaka, or an advanced layman. This auspicious program shall take place on Sunday, 06/12/2009 in Mumbai.
