We have no plans to translate the Vedas. We also welcome feedback on our translations. Errata will be posted online, and then any necessary changes will be made when the books are reprinted. Guest guest
Dear Rahula, Jay Jinendra It is extremely difficult, if not impossible, to say which translation is the best. Firstly because there are many criteria involved in deciding what is the best. And secondly because such judgements at best can be subjective. My personal preferences are as under: Bhagavadgita God Talks to Arjuna Rs. 325 for the set of 2 books Patanjali's Yoga Sutra A translation by Christopher Key Chapple I forget who published it The 4 Vedas The best that I have seen are published by Parimal Publications. Rs. 4050 for the set of 9 books. They have published the mula patha as well as the English translation. All three books are available at low prices in India. best wishes M 2008/9/20 rahula_80 <rahula_80 > Hi, > > Can you tell me the best translations for the below. If you have to list > more than one, please in the order of superiority. > > i.Yoga Sutra > ii.
