INVITATION

 

Shri Balmukund Lohia Centre for Sanskrit and Indological Studies of the Tilak

Maharashtra University conducts various courses in Indology. Various subjects

like Indian Archaeology, History of Ancient India, Ancient Indian Social,

Economic and Political Institutions, History of Sanskrit, Prakrit and Pali

Literature, Ancient Indian Religions and Philosophies, Art and Architecture of

Ancient India, Epigraphy and Numismatics and Greater India, are taught in these

courses to introduce the ancient Indian Culture.

 

For the benefit of the participants and non-participants of these courses and

to create awareness among the people regarding our Indian Culture and Heritage,

Tilak Maharashtra University has organized a series of three lectures from 13th

to 15th July by eminent scholars in the field. These scholars will deliver

lectures on different aspects of ancient Indian Culture with the help of slides.

14th July - Dr. Shobhana Gokhale - Epigraphy and Numismatics,

15th July - Dr. M.K.Dhavalikar - Archaeology & Heritage
