New Version of Ganakashtadhyayi (ver 6.0) released on 4.5.2007

I am very much pleased to announce the new release of Ganakashtadhyayi (Ver

6.0). The present version has many exciting new features. Ever since the

earlier version was released during October last year, a lot of efforts have

been put in to understand and appreciate Panini's intelligence. Panini's

Ashtadhyayi is an intellectual fete and writing the program code for his

Sutras has been a challenging task. This new version covers all the

standard examples of Sandhis (ac-sandhi, hal-sandhi and visarga-sandhi) and

also all the standard examples of Shabdarupas (Ajanta-pullinga,

Ajanta-strilinga & Ajanta-napumsakalinga) as found in the Laghu

Siddhanta-Kaumudi. It takes less than 25 seconds to run the declension of

all the 51 standard examples in masculine gender and also to get the

complete derivational history of each and every result quoting the Panini's

Sutras with their reference numbers.. You can also take the print out of

the derivational history in the PDF format.

The new version has been successfully tested with Windows 2000 and Windows

XP only. The current version may not be compatible with Windows98.
