I was wondering if anybody had information on how to get the beautiful 'deluxe

edition' of

V.S. Apte's " The Practical Sanskrit-English Dictionary " published in Japan by

the Rinsen Book

Company (this is different than the version you can get on Amazon, and also

different than

his " Student's Sanskrit-English Dictionary " , and also not the Sanskrit

dictionary by V.G. Apte).

Even though they claim to welcome inquiries regarding this book, for some reason

the Rinsen

Co. won't answer their emails. If anyone has any information where I might find

this edition

please let me know. Thanks.

Hi,

I believe I have seen it in Motilal Banarsidas in Delhi. You may contact them by

email and inquire about it.

According to their webpage

http://www.rinsen. com/einfo/ epub4.htm

it still seems to be available.

The Japanese division of Amazon lists it, too. See

(long URL shortened)

This work is also available from Kinokuniya (who has divisions in the

US). Here a short URL pointing to the Japanese page of Kinokuniya:

Hope it helps
