Guest guest
Dear group, I have often wondered who may have lived in the BORI guest house over the years. From the BORI Annals I know that a young Daniel Ingalls lived there during the fifties, and from the man himself I know that Fred Smith lived there for a couple of extended periods years ago, but I suspect that a full list would be quite illustrious. Can anyone add any names and anecdotes? Can anyone add any names > and anecdotes? David Pingree was there 1958-59 (see K. Plofker's obituary in *Historia Mathematica* 34, pp. 3-6). Ingalls was, of course, Pingree's advisor. There is some information about his stay there in the latest issue of *Ganita Bharati*, which I unfortunately do not have at hand. Sincerely, Toke
