Get it now Dear Narasimhaji, I need your valuable advice I have one mala of 9 "one mukhi" rudrakshas which I am wearing I also have one 10 mukhi rudrakhsa which I have it on my gold chain which also I am wearing. Now what I want to know whether along with 10 mukhi can I add one 5mukhi, one 7mukhi and one 12 mukhi. pse advise shanta ++++ Bollywood, fun, friendship, sports and more. You name it, we have it. Yes along with your 10 mukhi, you can add 5, 7 and 12 mukhi beads. This will add a boost to your existing rudrakshas. Amma will bless your mala if it has not yet been worn or used. What you do is bring it up with you for darshan, and hold it up in one hand. She will take it and put it around your neck. This can happen at any time, on Devi Bhava or otherwise. If you have already been wearing or using your mala, you will have to listen to your heart and decide whether to hold it up for blessing in this way. It will receive Amma's energy just from you wearing it while getting darshan. There is nothing wrong with going up with a mala AND asking for mantra diksha on Devi Bhava. It is not asking too much. Amma wants to give blessings to Her children. Many people will go just this route, particularly if they can only see Her on Devi Bhava. To get mantra diksha, you go up for darshan on Devi Bhava and you just ask Amma for the mantra while you're getting darshan - " mantra please " or " Amma, mantra? " or " Amma please give me a mantra " or whatever words feel right. Usually She will say yes. My mala is used regularly, so I will probably just wear it during darshan to receive Mothers energy. Mother will give Kali mantra won't she? My astrologer specifically recommends the Path of the Mother for me due to certain combinations in my chart, he recomended Ramakrishna Mission, but said any path that focused on the mother would be good. And he specifically said that he hoped it would be Kali. I feel drawn to mother after reading a book on her, and then ironically I discovered she was going to be in Dearborn (3 hour drive) in just over a month! Probably not a coincidence. She gives different mantras to everyone - Kali, Durga, Shiva, Jesus, Gayatri, Hanuman, formless, etc. - according to what is best for each individual. Sometimes a person may say " please give me a mantra for such-and-such deity " and Amma may say something like " that is not your beloved deity, it seems you are trying to please Amma by saying that it is, Amma feels your beloved deity is really so-and-so, go and meditate and then tell me whether it is so " . (Paraphrased from the book " From Amma's Heart " ) Or, She may just say " YES! " Many people believe that Amma is the reincarnation of Ramakrishna and Sarada Devi in a single form. When you are at the programs, I would suggest that you invest in an archana book. Most are quite compact and will fit easily into a small pocket of a bookbag or take up very little space at your altar. You can get ones with line-by-line English translations of the Sanskrit. You could even bring one up for blessing from Amma before you begin to read it. Examine the 108 names of Amma, as well as enjoying the powerful stillness generated by the Lalita Sahasranama. These will be chanted every night while Amma is giving darshan. It sounds to me as though you're being brought where you need to be. See you in Dearborn! I'll be there, and will be helping out a little bit with the darshan lines.
