Guest guest
Dear Sudhir Architechji, The time scales need be revised according to the new conclusions arrivedd at in a logical way.The old time scales were only symbolic and not actual since duet of lack of proper tools of calculations available then. thus in the new light, one kalpa is 25600 years, one manwantar(sankrantic, kalpa divided by 12) is 2150 years.Every 2150 years we have to shift the seasons and the festivals by one month backwards.Satya, treta , dwapar and kali are the four cadinal or the two solstical and the two equinoctical points with proper interpretations. With the increase in technical knowledge we have to rework it.We can discuss details if you so want. The old time scales are also to be understood in the siprit with which they were formed. At present the reasearches on calendar reform has given us new light in the hindu time scales.
