Guest guest
dear shivbhakts om namo bhagawate rudraya firstly a happy ganesh chaturthi greetings to all. recently a lot of disucssion happened on the subtle philosophy of all religions like all paths leading to same god as advocated in the advaita of adi sankara and as ordained in the vedas. however, few members were trying to paint other religions as bad and are using choicest languages to bitterly criticise other religions and henceforth they are requested not to post such hate mails on other religions. within hinduism also, few members were finding fault with iskcon and their philosophy. here too we request such members to leave it to the wisdom of those followers and not use this group as a platform to criticise all others. simply put, we shall strive to have only a positive discussion or send positive messages, for the word of god (any form of god) contains only love and not hatred. adi sankara found shiva in a chandala at kashi which symbolises the same god (shiva) permeating in all of us. hence, we bow to the shiva in all and members are requested to kindly not post hate mails or bitterly negative mails about other religions and other followers or ways of hinduism. with best wishes and blessings pandit arjun

Guest guest
Your advice is valuable sir. I find there are no differences of opinions, except the interpretations. No doubt, the discussions enable us to learn more and more. The knowledge is unlimited. That is the reason, our Jagadguru had stressed about Satsang. Here, we should understand the real essence of brother Pandit Arjun’s message. Too many interpretations leads to unnecessary correspondence and it is not a healthy discussion. For instance, let us take example of the subject “So let us all say OMâ€. It has exchanges of 25 messages This is without prejudice to the sentiments. So far I am concerned I have no objection. This is only my opinion. Please do not mistake me. Guest guest
Sastryji,If interpretations are different, there must be some reason for the differenceand if doubts come up in the mind, should not one ask questions ?By asking questions, there is an opportunity to the person who replies totest his own clarity and also gives the questioner to see what the person'sthinking is.That way every one who read the thread comes to know of the rationality, logicor irrationality or illogical way the interpretations were made.I think that is education for all the participants. My request however is that we talk / write as nice as possible- in a civilized manner - so that there is nicety in the atmosphere.cheers --- On Tue, 25/8/09, Dr.B.G.Y Sastry <drbgysastry wrote:Dr.B.G.Y Sastry <drbgysastryRe: important request to all members Date: Tuesday, 25 August, 2009, 5:37 PM Your advice is valuable sir.
