Namaskar Hari Mallaji,

u have stated tha swami Vivekananda has said 'all religions are equal'. I have read his complete works- all the eight volumes twice, but do not remember any such statements. May be I have missed or forgotten. Kindly indicate the reference where this is said. I shall be grateful.

what i recall is that He had said in Parliament of religions and elsewhere that there should be harmony of religions. He has advocated Universal religion-and that according to him can only be Vedanta.

Namaskar Chetan ji,Swamiji said that " all religions, takes to Thee, like all the rivers, straight or crooked heads for the Ocean " . You are correct, he said that in his thunderbolt speech on the Parliament of Religions. 

I don't recall him saying 'All religions are equal' anywhere either. But Sri Ramakrishna Paramahamsa said that all the paths lead to the same God. He never said religions are equal either.
