Guest guest
Dear Kaniskaji, Namaskar! <On top of mount meru is Brahma's city.> <The day of Brahma is millions of years.> The astronomical calculations given in our old jyotish books and puranas have to be reconsidered as also is to be reconsidered the creation of world in seven days.In our present scientific world let us be factual because our knowledge of the universe has increased a lot since the old days. We had been discussing about these in other jyotish forums. We were on the verge of limiting the day of Brahma to 25,800 years and one manawantar to 1800 to 2150 years.Manawantar is shift of one month of season. Thus there is a proposal to shift one month so to set our calendar right with the seasons. I wonder if you know of the precession of the equinoxes. This is the earth axis shifting direction in a circle so that our seasons shifts one month in about 2150 years. We have been discussing this in the Hindu calendar forum, Parva sudhar forum and other jyotish forums, about these matters. If you so wish I can summarise them here too.Unless we clean time and again, the temples of concepts built by our fore fathers, it will go more and more out of use and more and more dirt wil collect around those old temples turning them into ruins sooner or later. Thus the need to rejunevate our old concepts on the upto date scientific basis.thank you, Regards, Hari Malla , kanishk <kanishk.chakravarty wrote: > > dear sirs, > i am attaching a very good file, in bmp format. > It gives the yuga's, manvantaras, kalpa's, and life span of bramhadev. > > > regards, > kanishk. > ***************************************************************************** > This Email and files transmitted are confidential and intended solely for > the use of the individual or entity to whom they are addressed.
