Guest guest
Om Namah Shivaya In the Brahmanda purana there is a conversation between Bhagavan Hayagriva and Rishi Agatsya and that is the 1000 names of the Divine mother . It is called Lalita Sahasranama. Some names in the Sahasranama are very significant. (Members can find English translation of these names at http://www.geocities.com/chelakkara_raja/Lalithasahsranamam.htm): Shivjnanapradayeeni Shivpriya Shivdooti Shivaradhya Shivmoorti Shivpara Shivankari Shambhavi Shankari dakshinamoorty-swaroopini sadashiv-pativrata Govind roopini Vishnu-maya vilasini Vighna-nashini Samharini rudra roopa In the end there is a name Sri Shiv shiv-shakti aikya So Lalita Parameshvari personifies the union of Shiv and Shakti. This sahasranama is extremely powerful and will transform your mind and body. It is a potent weapon against all mental, physical or other obstacles in life. So if you can, then chant the names in this great Sahasranama. Another interesting thing is that the Sahasranama praises Advaita through following names ekakini bhoomaroopa nirdvaita dvaita-varjita brahmatma-aikya swaroopini regards, Shailendra
