Guest guest
Let us see some more messages of Sathya Sai Baba on Moksha. "Moksha means liberation. All embodied beings long for liberation from the limitation the embodied connotes. Every living being is perforce a Mumukshu-- an aspirant for Moksha. One has to be a tyagi, well-versed in detachment. This is the final Truth." "There are two types of liberation mentioned in the Upanishads viz., Sadyomukti and Kramamukti. Sadyomukti is also referred to as Kaivalya-mukti. For earning this , no one need aspire for any heaven . They get this on the spot, and not by stages, step by step/ Liberation secured thus is a possession for ever. The rest are liable to change. When the effect of the merit acquired wears out, heaven has to be given up, and life on earth starts anew. Such souls know no merging. Only those who attain Kaivalya , merge and become One with the Eternal, the Universal...... Merging is not destruction. Laya happens when it becomes invisible. Just because a thing has gone out of sight how can you pronounce it 'destroyed'? Lump of sugar or salt placed in water disappears. You can see it no more. Can you say it has been destroyed? No. It has merged. It is there, the taste declares. It has lost the form, but it is present in its quality, its guna. The jiva also merges like this in Brahman. It is not destroyed at all." "When karma is prompted by Bhakti, it is Samsara Bhakti; when Jnana also blossoms a little it is Vanaprastha Bhakti;when Bhakti fructifies into jnana, then it is a Sanyasa Bhakti or Moksha itself." "The Lord ,who incarnates to restore Dharma, Himself advises the renouncing of all Dharma for the sake of the ultimate Liberation or Moksha and in the same Bhagavad Gita He recommends in the last chapter the giving up of even the craving for Moksha or Liberation, for there is in reality ,"no bondage and release". It is only a delusin born of ignorance, which disappears when the Light of knowledge is allowed to illumine the place where darkness prevailed."
