Guest guest
Hari OM In the chapter on Rajavidya Rajaguhya Yoga in the Gita the Lord asserts , " O Parantapa, men lacking faith in this Doctorine, far from coming to Me,return repeatedly in path of recurring death..... O Arjuna, I am death as well as Immortality. Those who are steeped in Vedic rituals worship Me with yagnas and pray for heaven;on death they reach the the Devaloka(world of Gods) and share celestial pleasures with them. But once their punya(merits or credits) are exhausted they return forthwith to the world of mortals. They are thus chained to the recurring cycle of births and deaths. Those who worship Me come to Me. Any offering made to Me with full devotion is accepted by Me. Whatever you do,O Kaunteya, whatever you eat, whatever you offer as yagna(sacrifice) or dana(gift). whatever tapas(austerity) you perform , dedicate it to me unreservedly. By doing so, you are totally released from the bondage of Karma( action) 9be it favourable or otherwise); If your mind is thus firmly set in renunciation, you will come to Me and thus freed from recurring birth and death.... My Bhaktha(devotee) never ever perishes. By seeking Saranam (refuge ) in Me, even those born of sinful parents and others usually considered as not eligible for Immortality shall reach the Supreme Goal. Fix thy mind on Me, give thy devotion to Me, offer thy sacrifice to Me,make thy obeisance to Me.; by attaching yourself to Me thus and by making Me thy end, to Me indeed thou shalt come" Thus the prescription for immortality is contained in the Bagavad Gita. What are we waiting for? Let us come out of our existing tendencies, beliefs, faiths, attitudes, inertia etc., etc., and live upto the prescription of The Divine and thereby become eligible for Immortality.
