Today I was reviewing a Panchang which is Published in Jalander in Urdu.They have mentioned Kumbh Mela at Hridawar in 2010.

Regarding Kumbh it was mentioned that when Minthan of Sea 12 Ratan were outcome first which were distributed among Devtas and after was a Kumbh with poison which was drunk by Shiv Bhagwan which after drinking 2 tears come in the eyes of Ruder and the whole poison was accumulated in the Neck and the name "Neel Kanth" was called by Devtas.Devi Parwati advised to place that Kumbh in Ruder Ganga so the water of Ganga is like Neel (Bluish) Colour but is very sweet.The other place I read that Kumbh Mela take place at 3 different locations viz Kashi,Haridawar and Ujain where while Devtas ran taking Kumbh with Amrat and where some Amrat was dropped the place is declared for Kumbh Mela by devtas but it is related with planet Guru Brahspati that when it come in one particular Rashi the main Mela occurs which come after 12 years as Guru Brahspati remain 12 months in one Rashi.

Any one can explain that is Gangaji and Ruder Gangaji same which flow from Shiv Jata?
