What impact does it make on our spiritual lifeSri Sri Muralidhara Swamiji:You can chant any Divine Name of the Lord. Each Mantra has its own merits and demerits The Maha Mantra has been prescribed in the Shastras as the means of liberation in this Yuga. ( Kalisantrana Upanishad)When you chant a mantra, it reverberates with the cosmic and energizes it. Many Mahans and saints including Sri Chaitanya Maha Prabhu and all his devotees have chanted the Maha Mantra and are still chanting it till date, all over the world. (In some other context, it could be Vishnu or Maa Lalita) If this fact is properly understood, where are these new doubts regarding mantras - which bless with Cosmic energy when chanted with all sincerety as per prescribed norms under Guidance of Guru ? My opinion is let us recite any Mantra with faith & as per sastra, which our Guru advises us for benefiting our life. GOD will surely Bless our sincere effort.

Our Guruji Acharya sudhanshuji Maharaj has taught us

1]give regard to all God but Have one Isht Dev only He should be worshiped & tell him only your problems etc.Only matra of that God should be chanted with faith & daily .You can chant other God Mantras also no problem.In which God you have faith He is Great for you but do not cosider other as small .name are diferrent but God is one

2]At the time of dikha guru Matra is given & that should be respected & chanted Daily.

3]You should have One Guru,One Mala,One Asan,One panth,one granth

4]dig well at one place you will get water do not dig here & there Ie have faith in one & one only.
