dear sushmajee

How many times this mantra is to be chanted is little

bit difficult to tell you. In this case,

each line of this mantra is having twelve characters.

twelve characters into four lines = 48 times. You may chant it 48

times per day. there is no supportive (pramAN) for this which I can provide

you.

(Any mantra chanting has to be upto AKSHRA LAKSHA, means,

how many words are there in a particular mantra, that much lakhs times.

This is for upAsana purpose)

hope I could clarify a bit.

best wishes

vijayanji

Vijayan Ji

Aum Namah Shivaaya

I missed this mail somewhere, hence so late. It was really so nice to read

this explanation of this Shlok. I never thought about it this way.

What do you think how many times should it be recited? I have known this

Shlok for some time, and I like it the way it is written, but never got

chance to recite it.

With regards

Sushma
