Difference between Kashmiri Shaivism and Shankracharya Shaivism?

Dear Paresh ji, Acharya Sankara did not propound Saivism. His school of thought

or philosophy was non-dualism or Advaita. The essence of everything in the

universe (including plants, trees, animals, humans, etc) is one. That essence is

Atman which is same as Brahman. This is a 2 line description of Advaita.

I don't know about Kashmir Shaivism .

Namaste, Yes I did not imply that Advaita has no place for Ishvara. As you said,

Acharya Sankara wrote beautiful stotras in praise of all the major deities. His

Soundaryalahiri is considered a Tantric treatise also.
