Namaste Panditji, You have raised an issue below and I am quoting (with my

comments after it). Kindly share your perspective on the matter also.

> If God all ALWAYS full of compassion and ready to provide guidance, can you

explain

their lands, raped, tortured and robbed of their wealth) in India over the last

thousand years ?

guidance ?

If we accept Veda pramana and Geeta, then we have to accept the law of karma

also. The whole Sri Rudram is about Bhagavan Rudra and his weapons. My

understanding is that weapons of Bhagavan Rudra are nothing but law of karma -

dispensing the fruits of actions.

That there is vast diversity in the world, myriad kinds of bodies, capabilities,

pain/pleasure etc indicates people are experiencing the fruits of their past.

This does mean that humans are endowed with certain amount of free will based on

their buddhi. Those who misuse their free will and harm others will pay for it

either here or hereafter. Some will argue here that God is free from love or

hate - God is nirguna (attributeless), so there is no question of compassion.

Whatever happens is not total chaos either. So the only explanation is that the

law of karma/the cosmic energy/the maya shakti is extremely intelligent and

unsparing. It acts totally according to law of karma. Here, the Puranic

literature is unanimous in saying that chanting the name of God cancels negative

karmas and results in antahakaran shuddhi (purification of intellect), which is

a stepping stone to self-knowledge or atma-jnana.

Shailendra

not my opinion but that of many psychics. Let me tell you of a lesson that I

learned in meditation, in order to get pure gold the metal must be dipped in

fire repeatedly until ALL of the impurities have been eradicated. God is not

always pleasant sometimes very hard lessons are taught and the sadhaka IS TESTED

repeatedly to ensure you have learned those lessons. something everyone should

always be conscious of !

AumNamaste :If we accept Veda pramana and Geeta, then we have to accept the law of karma also.AgreedThe whole Sri Rudram is about Bhagavan Rudra

and his weapons. My understanding is that weapons of Bhagavan Rudra are

nothing but law of karma - dispensing the fruits of actions. This is incorrect, the weapons of Bhagavan Rudra or any Devi or Devata are mantras.Hum/ HOOM are examples of those mantras - used for dispelling negativity (in normal consciousness) but when recited while in higher states of consciousness it can be more potent and very destructive. ( Sorry, I know this is confusing and unclear but I cannot reveal exactly what I am referring to here... this knowledge is meant only for a selected responsible few). That there is vast diversity in the world, myriad kinds of bodies,

capabilities, pain/pleasure etc indicates people are experiencing the

fruits of their past. This does mean that humans are endowed with

certain amount of free will based on their buddhi. Those who misuse

their free will and harm others will pay for it either here or

hereafter. This is both true and not true - If one acts out of individual will and ego and causes harm to another, the law of Karma applies and one has to pay for his/her deeds. However, when one acts while in a state of conscious surrender to God, he is free of Karmic consequences as it will be the God who is acting through the individual and not the individual. e.g. Lord Krishna advises Arjuna to kill his own kinsmen !!! Some will argue here that God is free from love or hate -

God is nirguna (attributeless) , so there is no question of compassion.

Whatever happens is not total chaos either. So the only explanation is

that the law of karma/the cosmic energy/the maya shakti is extremely

intelligent and unsparing. It acts totally according to law of karma.God in his Nirguna state is attributeless, it should be noted that this state of God is beyond human comprehension (literally beyond speech and mind) it can only be perceived but not understood. The Mahavakya "Tat Twam Asi" means I am "THAT", what this indicates is that the Rishis were unable to comprehend God in that state, this was their limitation !However we are also told that God has a Saguna state (with form and attributes) and so when we can evoke/invoke a Devata/Devi we are able to communicate at a mental and psychic level. FYI, when in such communication your aura and astral body are read and the Devata /Devi knows EVERYTHING about you, your problem and its causes. Compassion can be shown by a Devata/Devi, however this is normally only shown to those that are sincere/devoted and when they are pleased with your

worship. Some people are of the opinion that they can compell a Devata/Devi (Vira Tantriks), this is not only dangerous but downright stupid as well ! If you have enough power to compell a Devata then why does the Devata need to assist you, (you can do what you need to yourself) ?. This type of Sadhana is by the way, one of those tests we were discussing and it normally reveals serious defects in one personality ( pompous arrogant little mortals who think they are actually greater than that which they pray to, also greed, lust, need to control /manipulate people are revealed) Here, the Puranic literature is unanimous in saying that chanting the

name of God cancels negative karmas and results in antahakaran shuddhi

(purification of intellect), which is a stepping stone to

self-knowledge or atma-jnana.I agree with this, when a mantra is recited intensely it begins to affect the mind stuff as it is sound energy acting on etheric energy. It starts by clearing Vasanas and Samskaras and replacing it with a thought form of the Devi/Devata whose mantra is being recitied.By replacing the Vasanas and Samslaras, it starts to break up the karmic patterns by modifying behaviour, mental disposition etc. and so acts to elevate the person.Over time, the energy transforms one to having the qualties of the Devi/Devata (which is why a specific mantra is given through diksha by a siddha guru ) this is what hastens ones progress to self knowledge. This however, is a gradual process and depending on the intensity of Japa and focus on the mantra, can take quite some time to master, it is not an instant process (unless one is an evolved soul). It should also be noted that

the Mantra itself has different levels of energy, if one has many blockages in the chakras, nadis etc. this can cause very erractic problems to the individual, physically and mentally which can in some case worsen the problems. This is why there are so many types of purification in Puja prior to Japa. Also, in this particular economic climate if the company is not doing well and needs to cut costs, no matter what mantra you recite; they will have to cut costs and if he happens to be one of those costs, he WILL lose his job.

We silently hope that GOD will somehow or the other feel sorry for us and solve our problems ! This is the wrong approach to take, God will assist and intervene ONLY where we cannot act for ourselves (if we are deserving and in keeping with our Karma)

The Abhaya Mudra that Lord Shiva displays is for dispelling of fear, this should be concentrated upon when doing Manas Puja.

Next, inhale water and expel it through the mouth which has the effect of clearing nasal passages, removing build up of dust, and bacteria.. This stimulates the nervous system and increases eyesight.
